As 2023 draws to a close, we reflect on the incredible journey we have shared with you and the significant milestones marking this year as truly special. In 2023, we celebrated 110 years in business, an achievement made possible with your unwavering support and partnership. Whether you have been with us for generations or are new to our family, we share in your dreams, invest in your stories, and take pride in being a part of your journey.
In honor of our anniversary, our one hundred employees invested more than 110 hours of volunteering in a single day! That is just part of the more than 4,000 hours of combined volunteer hours by our staff in 2023. Giving back to our community is deep-rooted in our culture. Beyond volunteering, Trust Point’s success enables us to continue our financial support of local nonprofit organizations.
Additionally, Trust Point was able to help sponsor over 100 events within our communities this year. Our credentialed team members shared expertise at 20 presentations within the La Crosse, Eau Claire, and Minneapolis communities in 2023.
For the sixth year in a row, we are recognized as a Best Place to Work, a testament to our engaging work environment and commitment to staff development. Many of our employees have been with us for decades, but with our growth, you may have been introduced to some of our 13 new team members and 4 new interns.
The Trust Point Young Professionals Group grew to 24 members this year. This group is helping to train future leaders at Trust Point and is dedicated to enhancing their skill set to better serve all of you.
Our team of experienced financial advocates are always working in your best interest, continuing to grow their knowledge and expertise and build upon our 110 years of service excellence.
Our success reflects the trust and confidence you place in us. We continue to grow, foster new relationships, and deepen existing ones. 60% of our new clients come from referrals. With your partnership, Trust Point celebrated multiple milestone anniversaries this year. We celebrated 110 years in La Crosse, 20 years in Minneapolis, and 5 years in Eau Claire.
Emerj360, a division of Trust Point that offers the conveniences of digital investing, plus the added benefit of personalized service from our team of financial professionals, experienced great growth in 2023 as well. Assets under management more than doubled and over 150 education sessions were provided for 401(k) plan participants. We are grateful to be able to serve more individuals through the Emerj360 division and provide educational tools and resources to help build your financial confidence.
