Building Tomorrow’s Workforce: Inside Our Internship Program

Trust Point 2025 Interns

Internships provide hands-on experience students are seeking outside the classroom to get a jumpstart in their career. Our internships provide an inside look at careers in the financial services industry. Interns complete meaningful work, gain real-world experience, and build professional connections across the company to help them grow.

How Long are Our Internships?

Internships at Trust Point typically run for 12 to 18 months with students working full-time in the summer and part-time during the school year. This balance offers consistent exposure while supporting academic schedules.

What Skills do Our Internships Enhance?

Interns become part of the full-time team and contribute to ongoing projects—not busy work. They learn, ask questions, and build skills that translate directly to the industry and the professional workplace, such as the following:

• Collaborate with various departments: wealth management, investments, marketing, financial planning, retirement planning, HR, and operations
• Learn how client relationships are managed and nurtured
• Receive mentoring from professionals who value teaching and support

“Being an intern at Trust Point has been such a great experience so far. Everyone’s been super welcoming and supportive – right away, I could tell the people around me truly want interns to succeed. The intern program is really well-organized and designed to help you get the most out of the experience. You get opportunities to connect with the other interns, which is great because you not only get to build valuable relationships, but you also have fun along the way! I’ve learned so much more than I expected in just a short time. I’m very grateful to be here at Trust Point!” – Morgan Clark, Wealth Management Intern

How Many of Trust Point’s Current Team Started as Interns?

Interns often build long-term careers here. In fact, nine current staff members started as interns—including our President CEO, Bill Bosch who gained experience in various departments before stepping into leadership. We treat interns as future colleagues, not temporary help.

What Happens After an Internship Ends?

Some interns join Trust Point full-time after the program, while others take their experience elsewhere. Either way, they leave with valuable skills and clarity. As full-time team member Nolan Gaffney shared: “The internship gave me the experience, relationships, and confidence that made the transition to full-time feel both natural and exciting.”
