Philanthropic giving from generous individuals helps fill the gaps in our communities. The Upper Mississippi Valley Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP-UMV) will host a presentation and luncheon at Western Technical College in La Crosse on National Philanthropy Day, Wednesday, November 15, 2023. National Philanthropy Award recipients will also be announced.
As an Annual Investor of the AFP-UMV, Trust Point is honored to be a part of the day again this year and showcase our dedicated work and expertise with non-profit organizations. Leslie Meulemans, CPA, Relationship Manager – Team Lead, and Jennifer Gander, CFP®, CPA, Relationship Manager will share a presentation on Navigating Legacy Giving Trends, discussing different charitable giving strategies.
Community involvement has always been an integral part of our history, including supporting community organizations like the AFP-UMV. Through our dedicated work and expertise, we have been able to be a part of the growth and success of a number of non-profit organizations. Our role is often expanded to include presentations to Board of Directors, committees, individual donors, or community events such as the AFP-UMV National Philanthropy Day event.
