Philanthropic giving from generous individuals helps fill the gaps in our communities. The Upper Mississippi Valley Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP-UMV) hosted a presentation and luncheon at Western Technical College in La Crosse on National Philanthropy Day, Tuesday, November 15, 2022.

More than 100 representatives from various non-profit organizations were in attendance. The highlight of the event really was the award luncheon which recognized some of the individuals and companies making an impact in our communities. As an Annual Investor of the AFP-UMV, Trust Point was honored to be a part of the day and showcase our dedicated work and expertise with non-profit organizations. Jason Munz, Vice President – Eau Claire and Randy Van Rooyen, Senior Vice President of Strategic Relationships, shared a presentation covering topics such as how market conditions can impact donor giving, fundraising in a challenging market, and charitable trusts.

Community involvement has always been a huge part of our history, including supporting community organizations like the AFP-UMV. Through our dedicated work and expertise, we have been able to be a part of the growth and success of a number of non-profit organizations. Our role is often expanded to include presentations to Board of Directors, committees, individual donors, or community events such as the AFP-UMV National Philanthropy Day event.

If you or your organization is interested in our presentations specifically for non-profits and their donors, please reach out to us. For a detailed list of our services for non-profit organizations, visit our Non-profit & Foundation Services pages.

Additionally, five award winners were recognized at the annual luncheon for their support to the community.
