Trust Point Young Professionals Group Holds Networking Meeting

big team meeting

On Tuesday, August 16th, the Trust Point Young Professionals (TPYP) group gathered in Eau Claire for their quarterly event focused on community service and leadership development.

They started the day serving the community with a volunteering project at the Boys and Girls Club of the Greater Chippewa Valley – Lee & Mary Marquart Center.  TPYP members split into 3 groups to tackle various tasks the club needed accomplished.  One group constructed tables indoors, one group built raised flower beds, and the final group handled outdoor cleanup and maintenance.  The Boys and Girls Club was very impressed with all they were able to accomplish in the time they had there.

The group then migrated to the Eau Claire Trust Point office. This event was a bitter-sweet time for the group as two members graduated from the Trust Point Young Professionals Group: Blake Barnes and Rochelle Panchyshyn.  It was a great opportunity to congratulate Blake and Rochelle, and thank them for all they have done as part of the group and for the community.

Following the graduation, members gathered for a group lunch before many discussions and activities to fill the rest of the day. They discussed goals the group is striving to achieve, participated in a “Compass” activity to get to know each other better, and received a tour of Trust Point’s renovated Eau Claire office from our own Jason Munz, Vice President. The remainder of the afternoon consisted of a Q & A with Jason about his career and the history of the Eau Claire office.

The Trust Point’s Young Professionals (TPYP) group is comprised of Trust Point employees under the age of 35, who are dedicated to continuing Trust Point’s legacy of excellence through training, education, networking and community service.
