The group started their day volunteering at the Children’s Museum of La Crosse. The theme for the day was teamwork, which the group demonstrated by coming together to clean and sanitize the museum from top to bottom! They also filled gift bags and blew up balloons ahead of the museum’s 25th anniversary celebrations.

After volunteering, the group traveled to The Nature Place in Myrick Park, where they were joined by President and CEO, Bill Bosch; SVP of Strategic Relationships, Randy Van Rooyen; and VP of Organizational Development, Regina Siegel. TPYP members split into two groups to discuss the group’s long range plan goals which include enhancing the TPYP lifecycle with additional development skills and working on a community-focused project. Bill and Randy helped facilitate the groups’ discussions around potential initiatives and tactics to accomplish these goals over the next several years.

To end the day, the group hosted a social in appreciation of recently retired CEO and Chairman of the Board, Kent Handel. Kent was integral in the formation of the Trust Point Young Professionals in 2018, and his passion and commitment to the group have only grown over the years. Kent, who was accompanied by his wife Rhonda, was presented with a book of handwritten notes from current and graduated members of TPYP, sharing their appreciation for TPYP’s impact on their professional and personal lives. Kent and Rhonda provided some words of advice for the young professionals, and of course the day wouldn’t have been complete without a few of Kent’s signature stories! Thank you, Kent, for all your words of wisdom over the years. One thing is for sure – TPYP wouldn’t be where it is today without you!

Trust Point is invested in our employees and TPYP is a prime example of that commitment. The Trust Point’s Young Professionals (TPYP) group is comprised of Trust Point employees under the age of 35, who are dedicated to continuing Trust Point’s legacy of excellence through training, education, networking and community service. This is a unique opportunity for our young professionals to grow and develop within Trust Point by offering them the tools and training for long-term success.
