Trust Point has been a valued partner with La Crosse schools and the La Crosse Public Education Foundation. Trust Point presented a $5,200 grant that will fund visits by two instructors involved in theater, arts, and dance to work with staff and students at Hamilton-SOTA I.
The artists will work with teachers to integrate the arts into course content. They will also be working with students to create a piece of public art that will be displayed in late September.
This will complete the $4.8 million dollar expansion and remodeling project at Hamilton -SOTA I. This project includes a 18,700 foot expansion with a new gymnasium, library, and community center space for the Powell-Poage-Hamilton neighborhoods. There is an additional 3,500 foot renovation with additional classrooms and a maker’s space. The project supports the community school model at Hamilton by making the school the neighborhood hub that offers support and resources for students, families, and the community.
Trust Point shares Hamilton’s view on the importance of community. The success of our clients and our communities is at the heart of everything we do. To learn more about Trust Point’s community involvement, please visit our Community page.
