Charts and Chatter was held in each of our three locations a month ago. We could not have predicted what would happen in 30 days’ time, and while the particulars of the intensifying trade disputes between the U.S., China and now Mexico are not discussed in this video, we are monitoring the situation very closely. As always, we guard against letting the recent negative headlines sway your investment decisions. We remain reasonably optimistic that the US and global economies are not heading into a recession and a resolution to the trade disputes will eventually be found. Long term investors recognize that markets are volatile and cyclical and rarely perform in line with historical averages over short periods of time, a point emphasized in the attached video.
